Burlington, Washington is an active city with plenty going on. It’s located in west Skagit County, and with about 9,000 residents, there are a number of interesting, unique places to grab a bite, enjoy a drink or spend a day on the water. It’s just a short drive to the Skagit River and only a few miles away from Padilla Bay, making Burlington a great place for anglers and other water lovers. With its southern border marked by the Skagit River and its western boundary the I-5, it’s easy to get to larger cities like Mount Vernon, Everett or Seattle for work or just to run a few errands.

    Burlington Community Events

This year was the first year of the Burlington BBQ Battle. With much of the fare sourced locally, this is a great opportunity to taste what the area’s farmers have to offer. Find more information about it here! There is also an annual Harvest Festival featuring a Pumpkin Pitch and many other activities. The community gathers in a big way to have fun and celebrate the bountiful harvest of many local crops.
